Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, just like travelling to any other country, it is always recommended that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance in your home country.

Do I need cold weather clothing in Trujillo?
No, the weather in Trujillo is warm or mild all year round. However, in the winter evenings you may want to wear a sweater.

Will the school pick me up from Trujillo airport or bus station?
Yes, we will collect you, free of charge, from the airport or bus station. We will take you to your chosen accommodation.

Will I have a local English speaking contact?
Yes, you will have a contact available to you 24 hours a day.

Do I need to bring any books with me?
You will need to bring a Spanish dictionary. Other than that, we provide all of the course materials at no extra charge.

Will I have homework?
Yes, as well as a review of your day's work you will be given a little preparatory work for the following day.

Is there a registration fee for classes, accommodation or volunteering?

No, we do not charge registration fees for any of these services. 

How to get to Trujillo

Trujillo is a 40 minute flight from Lima with a number of airlines available.  We recommend www.starperu.com or www.taca.com/peru.  Prices normally are less than $100 return, depending upon when booked.

Alternatively you can take an overnight bus from Lima to Trujillo.  These normally leave Lima around 10pm, arriving in Trujillo at 7am.  A number of excellent VIP services are available which include snacks, DVDs and fully reclining seats. Prices are normally around $50 return.  One popular service is www.linea.pe
